Dr. Cattani is a Clinical Professor and Associate Director of Counseling & Psychological Services at Brigham Young University. She divides her time between administrative work, clinical practice, training of graduate students, consulting, and clinical research. Her clinical interests are in adult outpatient counseling with individuals exhibiting a wide range of difficulties including anxiety (particularly generalized anxiety and trauma), depression, and identity development challenges or conflicts. She uses a number of evidenced based interventions; particularly interpersonal and mindfulness-based models. For the past five years her clinical practice and research has focused on Compassion Focused Therapy.
In her spare time, Dr. Cattani operates a taxi service for her kids (usually to tennis courts and basketball gyms); enjoys hiking, biking, traveling with her family, and spoiling her English Golden Retriever.

I received a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Iowa State University (2004), MS in MFT from Purdue Calumet (`98) I am the owner of Progressive Paths Therapy in Orem, UT and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Utah. I do part time clinical work with students at BYU CAPS since 2010. I’ve been a therapist since 1998.
I work with individuals, couples, families, and do group therapy. I specialize in: Mormon faith crises/shifts/awakenings for individuals and couples, couples/marriage therapy, sex therapy for couples, premarital therapy, out of control or problematic sexual behavior for individuals and couples, healing from trauma/abuse, adult development, family therapy, and social justice based therapy for issues related to discrimination and systemic oppression of minority groups (race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.). I am a straight LGBTQ affirmative ally, and a member of the LGBTQ Affirmative Therapists Guild of Utah. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, AAMFT member, and UAMFT member. I am current president of the Mormon Mental Health Association which is a secular professional association for mental health providers, educators, and researchers who offer ethical and culturally informed and competent services and information to persons across the belief spectrum who identify with the broader Mormon cultural experience.

Curtis Anderson is a professor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He teaches courses on entity formation and corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, finance, and internet law. Before joining BYU Law, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Match Group, which is a publicly-held holding company that owns several online dating companies. Prior to joining Match, Curtis was a partner at Baker Botts, an international law firm based in Houston, Texas. Curtis received his undergraduate degree and law degree from Brigham Young University. He and his wife live in Provo, Utah. They have a daughter who lives in Dallas and a son who lives in Washington DC. Curtis has served on the board of Encircle since its inception.
